This is the revised GWDO following the study of Hong et al. (2025, Wea. Forecasting), which was implemented in Korean Integrated Model (KIM) and US-GFS. As compared to the previous version in WRF 4.7.1, the KIM-GWDO enhances the GWD drag and blocking stress. It also adds non-hydrostatic effect as proposed by Li et al. (MWR, 2024).
