@jtmims @wrongkindofdoctor I have a CESM test catalog built for Dani to continue working on this, using the community builder we are building. I printed the data frame in the following notebook. How does it look to you/MDTF framework?

Since this prelim test is only on 1 file, you won't be able to run a POD test, so just a quick visual inspection is good for now. Dani may be able to generate a catalog for a more expansive set for a POD test following this visual check

@aradhakrishnanGFDL I looked at the csv file, and it looks as though all the required columns are there for the MDTF!

This is just to save the state of the code where you were able to generate a version of CESM catalog, but noting that future work needs to be done to make this unified and integrated with MDTF given the standard_name things we discussed
