Summary

Merges all changes accumulated on staging into main, including:

Full README overhaul for the open-source launch (tagline, badges, nav links, How it Works, Mermaid pipeline diagram, Ecosystem table, Supported Formats, Citation, Communication, Contribution, We're Hiring).
CITATION.cff for GitHub's native "Cite this repository" button.
Ecosystem table added to CONTRIBUTING.md.
Various Quick Start and documentation improvements merged from both branches.

Test plan

Confirm rendered README looks correct on main.
Confirm Mermaid diagram renders.
Confirm CITATION.cff triggers the "Cite this repository" sidebar button.
Confirm all badge and nav links are functional.
