Summary

Adds interactive quantum computing tutorials for the OQD trapped-ion teaching demo.

Changes

  • QuantumTutorial class: 5 lessons teaching core concepts (Qubit, Superposition, Hadamard, Entanglement, Measurement)
  • QuantumCircuitBuilder: Simple circuit builder to create and run quantum circuits
  • Uses NiceGUI for interactive UI
  • Integrates with existing demo hardware controls (lasers, trap)

This contribution addresses the unitaryDESIGN 2026 bounty: "Build an interactive teaching tool for quantum computing" ($250)

Testing

  • Syntax validated with py_compile
  • Ready to test with: python -m oqd_teaching_demo.gui.main
