General Rules for Improved Translations

Please document any "rules" or general patterns you come across while reviewing the translated documents here.

It would be helpful to state the rule and then add an example of from and to.

  • Lecture names within syntax or quotes should be translated from English to Chinese

Bugs

  1. There needs to be newline space before $$ equations for the linking labels to be recognised. A lot of the ChatGPT output has not spaced these equations properly it seems.

  1. Always leave some spacing between code blocks and the main text.

  1. Replace wikipedia links with Baidu Baike or something equivalent.
