- get qt6 (it is not on the package list for ubuntu 20.04 and under 🙀🙀🙀)
- follow build instructions here https://wiki.qt.io/Building_Qt_6_from_Git
- get freetype (and also maybe build it)
- mkdir build
- cmake ..
- make
