This PR enhances the security of the application by implementing stricter input validation for API endpoints.

Changes:

  1. Transcript API (app/api/transcript/route.ts):

    • Added a Zod schema (langSchema) to validate the lang query parameter.
    • Ensures lang only contains valid ISO 639-1 language codes (2-10 alphanumeric characters and dashes).
    • Returns a 400 error for invalid language formats.

  2. Notes API (app/api/notes/route.ts):

    • Replaced generic z.string() validation with the more specific youtubeIdSchema for the youtubeId parameter.
    • This ensures only valid YouTube video IDs (11 characters, specific charset) are processed.

  3. Documentation:

    • Added a security journal entry in .jules/sentinel.md noting the initial scan and current security posture.

Verification:

  • pnpm build passes successfully.
  • pnpm lint confirms no new errors in modified files (existing project lint errors unrelated to these changes persist).
  • Code review confirmed the approach is sound and safe.
