StreamShapers 2.0 is here - We’re excited to share our biggest update yet. This one’s been in the works for a while, and we think you’re going to love what’s new. ✨

Account & Template Management

You can now create a StreamShapers account to save and manage your templates across devices.
Saved templates are stored securely in the cloud and can be accessed from anywhere at any time, whether you're at your desk or working remotely. ☁️
Templates can be organized into projects, making it easier to handle multiple designs, campaigns, and client work in a structured and scalable way.
Templates edited in Ferryman can be saved directly to your account and reopened later, allowing you to continue working without needing to re-import anything. This enables an iterative, flexible workflow across sessions and devices.
Whether you're testing a prototype or building a broadcast-ready asset, the save-and-resume workflow ensures you never lose progress.

Ferryman remains fully usable without an account, just like before. Registration is entirely optional. ✅

Embed Templates on Your Website (Beta) 🌐

Each template saved in your account now includes an iframe embed link, making it easier than ever to integrate real-time graphics into external websites, dashboards, or third-party platforms.
Once embedded, the graphic will automatically reflect the most recently saved version stored in your account, making it ideal for dynamic updates and real-time content management.
This feature is currently in beta and will evolve with future updates based on user feedback and platform improvements. 🧪

New Features in Ferryman ✨

• Reimport Ferryman Templates
  Previously exported HTML templates can now be reimported. Ferryman restores saved data and makes it editable again, this is perfect for recovering older versions or continuing work on assets.
• Open .lottie Files
  In addition to traditional .json formats, Ferryman now supports .lottie files.
• Support for Static Lotties
  Lottie animations without dynamic text layers can now be opened and exported without issues. This makes Ferryman compatible with a broader range of design tools and use cases, including purely decorative animations.
• Invoke Lottie Marker
  Ferryman template now supports Invoke playMarker("markerName“) in CasparCG, allowing specific sections of an animation to be triggered programmatically. This opens the door to interactive graphics and scene-based transitions. 🎛️
• Live Clock Enhancements
  Real-time clocks in templates now feature improved formatting (choose between 12-hour and 24-hour display) and refined alignment. 🕒
• Template Health Warnings
  Before exporting, Ferryman checks templates for missing markers, incomplete bindings, or other critical data. ⚠️
• OGraf Export
  Ferryman now supports exporting templates following the current status of the OGraf Standard.
  OGraf is an upcoming Open specification for HTML based Graphics, to be used in live television and post production workflows.
  It is currently developed and discussed by members of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) as well as the general industry.
  Ferryman OGraf Export is currently in beta and still being refined.
  Early adopters are encouraged to experiment and provide feedback. 🧪

• Switched from CSV to TSV for Google Sheets integration, improving reliability and compatibility with multi-language content
• Added a reload button to the preview player, allowing faster iteration during testing
• Improved handling of reactivity in embedded animations
• Numerous UI and UX refinements throughout the Ferryman interface
• Many smaller bug fixes to improve general stability and usability across browsers

Release Notes - Version 1.6.0

We are proud to expand StreamShapers Ferryman with some very cool features we have been working on for quite some
time. This release includes new functions such as:

Support for Loop Animations

It is now possible to add a loop animation to each marker. This will be executed in a continuous loop at the end of the
actual marker.

Support for Update Animations

Now, an update animation can be played when a value in the template is updated.

Google Sheets Integration

Data fields can now be linked with Google Sheets. This is directly integrated into the template, so no further settings
are required on the client side. Change your data in the Google Sheet, update your animation in CasparCG or SPX,
and you’re done!

Clock Integration

It is now possible to link a data field to a clock. Currently, the available formats are HH:MM:SS and HH:MM in
the 24-hour format.

Completely New Preview Player

We’ve added a new player that plays the generated HTML template instead of just the lottie.json. This allows you to
evaluate exactly how the template will look during playout, directly in Ferryman.

Feature Additions Coming in the Next Days/Weeks:

• Automatically periodic updates for Google Sheets
• More clock formats (12-hour, 24-hour, timezone, ...)

New Name, Same Performance: Introducing StreamShapers Ferryman

We are happy to announce that our StreamShapers Converter has been renamed to StreamShapers Ferryman.
This change reflects the core functionality of our tool — like a ferryman safely navigating between shores, the
StreamShapers Ferryman bridges the gap between Lottie JSON animations and HTML graphic templates.

New Features:

• Enhanced Support for SPX Graphics Controller:
  In addition to CasparCG support, the HTML templates are now compatible with the SPX Controller.
  This allows for flexible use of the templates across various broadcasting and presentation environments.
  A new export dialog enables users to specify settings for the output of HTML templates.

• Responsive Design Update:
  We've updated the app to feature a responsive design, ensuring it works smoothly across a wide range of screen sizes.
