83-88: 🎯 Functional Correctness | 🔵 Trivial | 🏗️ Heavy liftUse distinct account and character UUIDs in the default test fixture.
The fixture currently makes account UUIDs and character UUIDs equal. This lets tests pass when code uses the wrong identifier. Use a distinct deterministic character UUID, then update owner assertions and every
playerFile(...)caller to use the active session'scharacterId().In
AnimalCharacterAuthorityTest, use the same character UUID for both theCharacterDatapath and the document lookup.Suggested fixture change

- Around line 96-97: Update the catch around `store.commit` in the
`store.rows.putAll(planned)` flow to restore `original` for both `IOException`
and runtime exceptions, then rethrow the failure so unpublished changes do not
remain in memory.

- Around line 115-127: Update save to skip commit when all output documents
match their expected contents and no token effect is pending. In commit, remove
completed gameplay journals only when no token effect references them; retain
migration and estate receipts, and preserve the ownerJournal evidence needed by
AnimalTokenIntent.finish.
- Around line 241-243: Update OwnershipManager.removeAnimal to remove the animal
from PluginData.getUnownedAnimals() before forgetting its ownership and calling
PluginData.saveAnimals(), so AnimalOwnershipStore.save cannot restore the
unowned row.

@src/main/java/net/tfminecraft/breedingbuddies/listeners/MountListener.java:
- Line 45: Restrict the ownership guard in the entity-interaction handler and
onMount to tracked farm animals, using AnimalUtils.isFarmAnimal(entity) before
checking OwnershipManager. Preserve the existing fail-closed behaviour for those
animals while allowing interactions with other entities and untracked animals.
Review comments at
@src/main/java/net/tfminecraft/breedingbuddies/listeners/TamingListener.java:
- Line 131: Move the session and held-record check in
handleFarmAnimalInteraction to after the item ID is identified, and run it only
for the taming or co-ownership tokens; return immediately for all other held
items so ordinary farm-animal interactions remain unaffected.
Review comments at @tools/animal-ownership-rollback.py:
- Line 38: Update the archived-source comparison and restore path to use UTF-8
bytes, preserving CRLF and all original source bytes; apply this to the check
around `path.read_text()` and the temporary-file write around
`temporary.open()`. Read `source.json`, `migration.json`, and other JSON
documents with an explicit UTF-8 encoding.
- Around line 93-107: Update the rollback apply flow after restoring the files
from parse_document and before setting applied=True: move
ownership/migration.json, CharacterData/*.json and character-unowned.json aside,
ensuring they are preserved in the recovery image. Leave ownership/source.json
in place so startup can validate the restored legacy files and run migrate.

Owned farm animals now follow the active character. Same-account character switches cannot reuse an animal menu, care right or mount right from the outgoing character; resolved co-owners retain their own slots.
The migration inventories every legacy PlayerData/unowned copy and filename authority, keeps source bytes and fixed reviewed heirs, and holds disagreements. Checked fanout journals preserve raw unknown/null fields through saves and recovery. Estates move only the deceased slot, preserve care/genetics/other owners, validate replay semantics and completed receipts, retain cumulative IDs, and block stale partial plans or restored already-transferred source IDs. A stopped-server rollback tool previews conflicts and backs up every byte before an eligible apply.
Validation: Java 21
tfmc-mvn -o -B clean verifypasses 221 tests and the existing zero-missed production-line gate (2,210 covered lines); four Python rollback tests pass. Tests cover migration/estate publication failures, restart and conservation, valid-JSON replay corruption, duplicate nested keys, stale sessions, co-owner merge and token intent holds. Actual TLibs 2.3.0/2.4.1 classloaders pass compatibility probes. An isolated synthetic Paper 1.21.10 fixture uses unchanged production authority/menu/mount classes; it proves those hooks, not full MMOItems/RPCharacters startup or arbitrary-crash exactly-once inventory effects.Paired documentation: TF-Minecraft/Docs#232.
No deployment, server changes, merge, tag or release.
Release provenance verification: the existing tag workflow now passes the current pinned dependency lock to artifact staging, so build.json records the resolved application dependency inputs. YAML, exact pinned installer selection and actual helper staging with unchanged gated JARs pass; existing legacy fixture locks remain separate. This workflow-only change does not alter runtime code or require another Java build.
