This site is built primarily using Astro, with React islands used for certain components. Styling is done with TailwindCSS and static typing with Typescript is enabled. Prettier is used for formatting.
Astro looks for .astro or .md files in the src/pages/ directory. Each page is exposed as a route based on its file name.
There's nothing special about src/components/, but that's where we like to put any Astro/React components that will be used across multiple pages. This helps ensure design consistency.
Any static assets, like images, can be placed in the public/ directory.
The primary colours used on the site are red, yellow, and stone. Red and yellow have been overwritten from their defaults in the Tailwind configuration. The design of the site tries to incorporate a rounded-grid style and photography where appropriate.
All commands are run from the root of the project, from a terminal:
