As I mentioned in #1134, I ran into an issue with my traccc build today.
Which, while being a perfectly valid error, I could so far only reproduce inside of that build. This project's own build does not break down on that piece of code for me. Even though I use the same compiler setup that I use in the failing traccc build as well. 🤔 (Even weirder is that only the CUDA build breaks down. The SYCL build, which uses Clang for both the host and the device compiler, finishes successfully. 😕)
But I did encounter some warnings (turned errors by
-Werror) in my Detray build. Which I also tried to fix in this PR.
