Cove’s published Site did not declare an MCP server, so its managed plugin could not be enabled. This adds the Site capability and a separate
/mcpadapter with schema-only discovery, trusted Site identity, and an explicit owner-selected project grant. Existing custom OAuth clients continue to use/api/mcp; their grants are never reused by the plugin. Project scope, permissions, duration, expiry and revocation remain enforced. Existing verification history is preserved in the MCP guide. Both CI jobs pass, including the PostgreSQL suite, Sites/SQLite and OAuth checks, lint, typecheck, builds, browser journeys, dependency audit, backup/recovery and container checks. The same runtime is published as Cove Site version 7 with MCP enabled. A genuine assistant save/read/handoff remains pending; successful deployment and discovery do not establish that result.
