Sync AI guardrail policies to Akto via GitHub Actions.

- Add a JSON policy file to
atlas/orargus/ - Merge to
main - Trigger the Sync Guardrails to Akto workflow manually from the Actions tab
- The workflow validates all JSON files, then POSTs each policy to Akto's
createGuardrailPolicyAPI
Policies in atlas/ are sent with x-context-source: ENDPOINT.
Policies in argus/ are sent with x-context-source: AGENTIC.
The filename (without .json) becomes the policy name.
Add two repository secrets:

Create a .json file in the appropriate directory. The filename must be unique across both atlas/ and argus/.
atlas/my-policy.json → policy name: "my-policy", context: ENDPOINT
argus/my-policy.json → policy name: "my-policy", context: AGENTIC
The workflow injects name, createdBy, sourceHash, and source automatically — do not include them in the file.
Note: The filename (without
.json) is always used as the policy name. If your JSON includes anamefield, it will be ignored and overridden by the filename. Name your files intentionally — e.g.pii-protection.json→ policy namepii-protection.
