Seems like some k8s integration tests pass (eg lease tests) but other tests fail (discovery-kubernetes-api).

The discovery-kubernetes-api tests fail with ssl handshake issues. I tested with TLS v1.3 in #452
So the issue doesn't appear related to TLS version.

@lilun you contributed Kubernetes Lease support. That seems to work well with the upgraded K8s version in this PR.
The legacy discovery-kubernetes-api tests fail with SSL handshake issues with this K8s version upgrade.
Please feel free to ignore this but if you have any expertise with testing the K8s API with SSL/TLS, it would be appreciated.
