Hey @stpaultim, thanks for the PR 👍

The section that you have updated actually is the "description" of the issue type. As in what shows up here:

...and I am not sure that links will be rendered as links there anyway.

To add something to the actual text that is shown when the user is creating an issue of this type, you need to add what it is you meant to add bellow the ---. See this for an example:

Actually, I was trying to enter the link there in the question. Since my intent was to suggest to a user that there might be a better place to ask their question, before they started to ask their question.

However, I see that the "choose a different type" link is automatic and not something we seem to control.

I can put the link in the body field, but I don't think it will render as a link there either. I guess, it doesn't have to render as a link. The intent is simply to let folks know that there is an alternative place for them to ask questions.
