This is the open-source hub for the Bare Stack Community.
Most AI tools push subscriptions right away. Paid tools work fine, but you shouldn't have to pay just to learn how to build.
This community started from YouTube tutorials by Paul showing people how to run free models and open-source agents (like Hermes). The videos cover surface-level setups to get you off the ground, and from there it's up to you how deep you want to take it.
The community grew, so we made Barestack Labs as a shared place where members can build, host, and share free tools together.
We share what works without hype:
- Free AI tools and scripts
- Workflows for free models and local agents
- Practical utilities for video, scraping, and day-to-day work
- You build it, you own it: If you start a tool here, your name is on it. You run the repo.
- Open source, no lock-in: Every repo is public. You can fork your code and take it anywhere whenever you want.
- Protected repos: Deletions are turned off at the org level so nobody can accidentally wipe a project.
