Setup

Make sure to Install UV. we're switching to uv , because it's lot easier to manage packages in developers ecosystem

curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh

(or)

pip install uv

Clone and Packages installation:

git clone <your-repo>
cd <your-project>
uv sync

This basically manages packages across your folder, don't need to create virtual environment. While running itself it'll get the dependencies from pyproject.toml

Create a .env file in the root directory:

For the livekit, headover to restaurant-agents

uv run python3 livekit_adk.py dev

And in your Broswe Head over to

https://agents-playground.livekit.io/#cam=1&mic=1&screen=1&video=1&audio=1&chat=1&theme_color=green

For the main database, headover to restaurant365 and run

uv run python3 app_supabase.py

Getting Started with Dashboard (UI)

Prerequisites

• Node.js 18+
• npm 8+

Installation

1. Navigate to the dashboard directory:

cd dashboard-ui

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Start the development server:

npm start

4. Open http://localhost:3000 in your browser

Build for Production

npm run build

Now to make sure the transcription is stored from the livekit server to the dashboard,

1. Navigate to the dashboard directory:

cd dashboard-ui

2. Run the following command

uv python run transcript-api-server.py

Now if every api credential is properly setted up, once you give a ring to your TELENYX_PHONE_NUMBER, the agent immediately connects to a caller id and will be immedialtely available for conversation
