All commands in the game are issued in the following format:

Verb [Direct Object] [Preposition + Indirect Object]

The verb is the only requirement. Some valid example commands:
"north" (just a verb)
"take the sword" (equivalent to "take sword") (a verb + a direct object)
"drop the sword in the lake" (a verb + direct object + preposition + indirect object)
"jump into the lake" (a verb + indirect object -- no direct object)
