Hi, I'm Dinesh H Suthar 👋

Computer Science Student | Backend, Systems & Performance Engineering

I'm a Computer Science Engineering student in Bengaluru, graduating in 2027. I enjoy building backend systems, studying distributed architectures, improving application performance, and solving algorithmic problems.

My primary stack is Java and Spring Boot, with additional experience in Go, Python, TypeScript, Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.

I am currently looking for software engineering internships, backend roles, open-source opportunities, and technically challenging projects where I can learn from experienced engineers and contribute meaningfully.

About Me

  • 🎓 B.E. Computer Science Engineering student at Cambridge Institute of Technology
  • ☕ Java is my primary language for development and technical interviews
  • ⚙️ Interested in backend engineering, distributed systems, concurrency, and performance
  • 💼 Completed a backend and performance engineering internship through Samsung PRISM
  • 🏆 Solved 700+ problems across LeetCode and Codeforces
  • 🌍 Actively contributing to open-source projects
  • 📚 Currently strengthening Java, system design, CS fundamentals, and cloud-native development

Experience

Samsung PRISM — Backend & Performance Engineering Intern

June 2025 – March 2026

Worked on an automated professor-profile management and knowledge-graph construction system.

Some of my contributions included:

  • Improved enrichment-pipeline throughput by approximately 40%
  • Implemented token-bucket rate limiting for workflows processing 10,000+ daily profiles
  • Reduced thread contention in concurrent processing flows
  • Added JMH benchmarks and JUnit regression tests to the CI workflow
  • Worked with backend services, concurrent processing, performance testing, and reliability improvements

Selected Projects

Nexus RTP — Distributed Payment System

Go · CockroachDB · Kafka · Redis · Prometheus

A distributed payment-system case study focused on correctness, reliability, and transaction processing.

  • Designed an immutable double-entry ledger
  • Implemented idempotent transaction processing using UETRs
  • Used serializable transactions and sharded account writes
  • Reduced measured p99 latency from approximately 1500 ms to 140 ms after addressing hot-row contention
  • Used Kafka outbox and CDC patterns for crash-safe event delivery
  • Added duplicate handling, balance validation, and service metrics

High-Performance URL Shortener

Java 21 · Spring Boot · Redis · PostgreSQL · Redpanda

A backend service built to explore caching, concurrency, rate limiting, and performance testing.

  • Implemented URL creation, redirection, expiration, and analytics
  • Added Redis caching and cache-stampede protection
  • Implemented fixed-window rate limiting
  • Built asynchronous analytics using Redpanda
  • Created k6 performance-test suites
  • Measured endpoint latencies in the low-millisecond range during local benchmarks

SupplyPrint — Product Identity and Provenance Platform

Spring Boot · React · PostgreSQL · pgvector · ONNX Runtime

A platform for verifying product identity and managing supply-chain information.

  • Developed REST APIs using Spring Boot
  • Built the frontend using React
  • Used PostgreSQL and pgvector for structured and vector data
  • Integrated ONNX Runtime for local model inference
  • Added caching, validation, and performance measurements
  • Explored product verification and counterfeit-prevention workflows

AgentBus — Multi-Agent Software Engineering Runtime

Python · SQLite · Azure OpenAI · Ollama · GitHub

A provider-neutral multi-agent runtime for planning, coding, testing, reviewing, and executing software-engineering tasks.

  • Built planner, coder, verifier, and reviewer workflows
  • Added durable task execution using SQLite
  • Implemented task graphs, retries, approval gates, and crash recovery
  • Added Azure OpenAI and Ollama provider support
  • Built repository-context generation and automated test-command detection
  • Grew the automated test suite to 199 passing tests

Council — Multi-Model Orchestration Engine

Java 21 · Spring Boot · LLM APIs

A backend system for coordinating multiple AI models and selecting responses based on task requirements.

  • Integrated multiple model providers
  • Designed provider routing and model-evaluation workflows
  • Added structured execution and error handling
  • Investigated and fixed malformed tool-call failures
  • Validated fixes through repeated automated test runs

Open-Source Contributions

I am actively learning open-source development by contributing bug fixes, tests, documentation, and CI improvements.

A recent contribution to OpenClaw fixed a CI regression involving a PR-wrapper fixture and external-fork GitHub-hosted runners. The fix was included in the project's v2026.7.2-beta.5 pre-release.

When contributing, I try to provide:

  • A clear explanation of the problem
  • Reproduction steps where possible
  • A focused and minimal patch
  • Tests that verify the behaviour
  • Documentation for reviewers and maintainers

Competitive Programming

I regularly practise data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving through LeetCode and Codeforces.
