ScrobbleKit is still very barebones. Expect bugs, missing features, and the occasional crash.

Installation

iOS and iPadOS

Join the TestFlight

macOS

ScrobbleKit can be installed with Homebrew:

brew tap diogowho/tap
brew install --cask scrobblekit

Alternatively, download ScrobbleKit.zip from Releases, unzip it, and move ScrobbleKit.app to your Applications folder.

What it does

• Scrobbles to Last.fm
• Doesn't call home (only Last.fm endpoints)
• Doesn't track you
• Doesn't cost a dime
• Name correction (tracks/artists/albums should* match Last.fm's standards)
• Native UI
• iOS/iPadOS (26+)
• macOS (26+)

What it doesn't do (yet)

• No support for ListenBrainz or other platforms
• Only tested on macOS 27 (your mileage may vary on older versions)

Known caveats

• On iOS, ScrobbleKit cannot reliably monitor Apple Music while the phone is locked. iOS suspends background apps that aren't playing their own audio, so tracks played during a locked session may be missed or scrobbled out of order :(
