+1 from me. I think this makes sense and would be useful. I don't think the foundation news is obvious where to find it so this would add to more discoverability too.
I tried to configure this but I must have done this wrong as when a new item was published in the blog, we didn't create a feed item (see Django Software Foundation in https://www.djangoproject.com/community/).
However, I also think empty feed types should be hidden from the page (see #1874)
I think I might need @bmispelon to check some logs as to how I messed this up 🙏
I've been looking into this without much success, but today I saw that a post finally appeared in the new category (and I haven't changed anything in the configuration).
So I think it just took a bit of time before superfeedr (the service that we use behind the scene to push RSS updates to our database) became active for the new feeds.
I believe that means this ticket can be closed (I'll merge #1874 separately). Thanks everyone! 🎸
This would not require any code updates
Within the Django community page, there is an RSS feed section
We already have rss feeds for the board meeting minutes and the blog:
I think these should be on the community page within a new "Django Software Foundation" category.
If the @django/dsf-board approves, I have the permissions to set this up in the admin
