BTW, forgot to mention one more infrastructural project which might be of interest/consideration: https://gin.g-node.org/ . Check it out. Based on gogs (github clone in Go), enhanced with git-annex support, gin cmdline helper could be used to upload even without any git-annex, I know that they are working toward providing some "CI" setups, thus triggering/performing actions upon changes.
