Due to the failing CI I'll hold off reviewing this until a release of epicscorelibs is done.

The CI jobs for py3.13 and 3.14 will continue to fail until the epicscorelibs change adding uploads for those versions is merged.

That said, I don't think any special review of this PR is necessary. I am pleased with how few differences there would be between epicscorelibs/.github/workflows/build.yml and pvxs/.github/workflows/python.yml. I hope this will make future GHA updates to the three packages (epicscorelibs, pvxs, p4p) more mechanical.

Fair enough. The one thing to note I suppose would be to do the same Job step renaming as done in epicscorelibs here.
