people who have Guix installed can enter a shell with the required dependencies to build it by simply invoking `guix shell`.
people who have Nix installed can enter a shell with the required dependencies to build it by simply invoking `nix-shell`.

i'm not sure what you think about these, because i'm pretty sure you're not using either.
but whoever uses them can easily build the git checkout with the help of these files.
no hard feelings if it's rejected, but i thought it might be useful for some people.
