For projects that lots of templated pages, there is no user feedback that they are loading. Instead the console just freezes and shows no logs for some time - which is confusing for new users.
There was a PR submitted for this (#1859), but has a few things that should be addressed:
- Requires finding templated pages ahead of time, hopefully this isn't needed
- Uses
chokidar, which should be considered deprecated and moved to vite watchers
Some stretch goals for this issue:
- Logs when any page is created, not just a parameterized one
- Times the build time for each page specifically, this helps identify heavy pages
