Lirc

Stop lirc service: service lirc stop
Record key-presses: irrecord -H default -d /dev/lirc0 /etc/lirc/lircd.conf
Start lirc service: service lirc start

Our Lirc config

Keys:

KEY_OK => Pause/Resume channel
KEY_LEFT => Move to previous channel
KEY_RIGHT => Move to next channel
KEY_UP => Volume UP
KEY_DOWN => Volume DOWN
KEY_MUTE => Mute
KEY_EXIT => Quit from app + if device shutdown
