Bug: High CPU and RAM consumption which make the app feel too laggy.

Description

Files App exhibits abnormally high CPU and memory usage during regular use, resulting in noticeable UI stuttering, input lag, and system-wide slowdowns.

According to Windows Task Manager:

• CPU Usage: Consistently around 64%–65% (spiking total system CPU to ~96%)
• Memory: Over 1,000 MB (1 GB+)
• The app remains unresponsive and sluggish even when idle or performing basic navigation.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Launch Files App.
2. Open one or two tabs/windows (or browse a local directory).
3. Open Task Manager to observe resource usage under the Processes tab.
4. Attempt to navigate between folders or interact with the UI while resource consumption climbs to ~65% CPU and >1 GB RAM.

With the preview version of Files, I've noticed a slight increase in performance when navigating through folders, along with lower CPU usage. Memory usage is unchanged. On cold start, the interface freezes briefly.
