What changes are you trying to make? (e.g. Adding or removing code, refactoring existing code, adding reports)
Merging assignment 1 with main branch.
What did you learn from the changes you have made?
I learned that I can use different code to achieve the same results. I also learned about GitHub branches, and how to select the appropriate branch (eventually).
Was there another approach you were thinking about making? If so, what approach(es) were you thinking of?
I initially tried coding the whole script at once, without testing as I went, which was overwhelming and made making corrections difficult. I also initially used absolute paths, which needed to be corrected.
Were there any challenges? If so, what issue(s) did you face? How did you overcome it?
At the start of this course, I was really unfamiliar with coding. I've never used any of this software before, so just learning the environments was initially overwhelming and disorienting. I am very new to coding, and taking it slowly. Time management is also a challenge, as I work full time and volunteer in my community, so balancing the time required for this new course with my regular schedule is proving difficult.
How were these changes tested?
I went back to the start of the assignment and just redid the whole thing from the top.
