This has the basics of moving from JB1 --> mystmd.

I have done some initial work on getting a book-template together, there are a few problems with the export that we need to track down, but the demo is attached.

@labarba, this is updated beyond what you saw last time. There is limited branding in there, which is pretty easy to add, but takes some work. The PDF is created using Typst, which is much faster than LaTeX. A LaTeX book export is also possible by changing the template.

I noticed that the inline admonitions (including all the vignettes) are not included in the PDF output. Any clues?

Very strange, as the other admonitions are coming through. I can investigate that.

Hi @rowanc1 — now that SciPy is over, can you spare a little time to check on this port of our OSS Licensing tutorial to MyST-MD? There were only a couple of minor issues remaining, one of them the PDF missing all inline admonitions.

@rowanc1 – You had migrated this site to MyST, and as I recall suppressed the page index on the top-right, which was clashing with margin notes (or something like that). Have those issues been resolved? Looking at the render in MyST I really like how it looks!
