Adding the keyword makes sense. Overall, this is a question that would apply to all my python projects (badkeys, snallygaster, freewvs, various smaller ones). I'm using a sync'ed python CI script that I maintain here: I'm currently unsure whether I shall remove python 3.9 testing and support without a good reason. Sure, EOL, but as long as there are no new features that I'd want to use, it seems like it doesn't hurt to continue testing it (?) |
@hannob my personal take is that end-of-life versions should receive zero support and waste zero unpaid time, CI resources, human discussion or pull request review. So I like to burn that bridge right before it can even happen. I was making a mass-change to all(? my repositories yesterday. I'm good with closing it as "not what snallygaster needs", it was just an offer to save you a minute or two and to raise awareness. |
@hannob I think I mentioned in the past that I consider that approach to be too inflexible and a mistake. I believe we agreed to disagree. |
