Generate natural, context-aware replies on X with one click.
Understands text, images, and quoted posts · Four reply styles · Multiple AI providers · You send manually
Asking AI to “write a polite reply” often produces something correct but not worth posting.
Quip first identifies what the author is doing—sharing, venting, joking, asking, or announcing—then finds a concrete detail or subtext to respond to. Its writer × editor review flow rejects generic agreement, misreadings, filler, and forced jokes before returning one natural reply.
- Understands the point — responds to a concrete detail, implication, contrast, or callback instead of paraphrasing the post
- Context-aware — witty when appropriate, sincere or useful when the post is serious
- Four styles — Adaptive, Funny, Warm, and Sharp
- Quick rewrites — make a draft Shorter, Natural, or Wittier without reopening settings
- Personal voice — add a short profile or a few example replies to guide wording and perspective
- Fuller context — reads recent parent posts, images, video covers, and nested quoted posts
- Context preview — inspect exactly what Quip read before generating
- Language matching — replies in the original post's language
- Multiple providers — DeepSeek, OpenAI, Grok, Claude, Gemini, and OpenRouter with your own API key
- You stay in control — Quip fills the draft; you edit and send it
- No custom backend — keys stay in local browser storage; post content and enabled images go directly to your selected AI provider
