• It's failing because https://github.com/humbug/php-scoper/blob/main/src/Scoper/PhpScoper.php#L69 should be the old statements, not the scoped statements.

• Also for those "old statements" it requires them to be traversed separately with a CloningVisitor() first according to the docs
  (example see Formatting-preserving pretty printing nikic/PHP-Parser#931 where it's commented, but that's wrong, bc it's required, but otherwise it's a good example)

• currently only the phpVersion is passed to the pretty printer, but the "indent" (tab or spaces) based on what is used in the file should be passed, e.g. very simplified with $indent = preg_match('/^\t|^ +(?![* ])/m', $contents, $match) ? $match[0] : "\t";

Also in case the new printer still does not print unmodified (excluded-namespace,...) files as they were originally, I think it would be a simple improvement to not use the phpparser printer for that then, but just print the original input as is.
