Added hiera.yaml variable to confine the requested attributes. Requesting all attributes can lead to "invalid byte sequence in UTF-8" errors and therefore not returning the whole dataset. That's for example the case for the usercertificate field in Active Directories.

Does this default sanely if attributes are not provided in the conf file?

Sorry for the late answer. I couldn't find a problem when the attribute is not provided, it just defaults to query all attributes.
Of cource it would be more clean to check if the attribute is set and then call the appropriate search, but my limited ruby knowledge doesn't allow me to optimize that...
