Hi Jessy,
first of all, thanks for creating and maintaining mnamer! I'm using it for quite some time now and it's awesome. Two things I missed are the possibility to remove empty source directories and a way to use the release name as format option. Here's the PR. Maybe you want to merge it as is or implement something similar yourself - or even discard it. :)
