This got a bit complicated pretty fast so I figured i'd pop up the draft PR before getting too much further.
Using models like this feels a bit silly but prevents a very large amount of boiler plate in the cli commands themselves, especially with the different permutations of list/get/call
this vaguely works as it is in the PR but I haven't tried out really any permutations or edge cases
