Type

Amendment + Removal

Changes

  • Removed Cromite
  • Added Cromite to notable mentions
  • Removed mobile-based notable mentions, as will create new section for these
  • Updated wording of others, to be shorter and more objective
  • Added in app links to Firefox

Supporting Material

While still maintained, Cromite is contently lagging behind upstream, and the delay to security patches is an issue.

For now, I've moved to notable mentions section, as I do believe it still has value, but will re-review soon and remove if doesn't improve. Hopefully it doesn't follow Bromite's fate.

Also small cleanup of other notable mentions, descriptions, etc

Perhaps https://codeberg.org/celenity/Phoenix/ could be mentioned under Firefox next to Arkenfox and 12Bytes. It's well-documented and actively developed (and the basis for IronFox's setup). There's also some cross-pollination between LibreWolf and Phoenix.

Nice, I'll add that

If you got any more thoughts for the browser sections, would be interested to hear. I know you've done a lot of work in that area
