I mocked up the solution to get S3 working with the latest AWS SDK v2 gem (gem 'aws-sdk', '~> 2'). This aws-s3 gem was broken with the latest aws-sdk and paperclip v4.2.1. Let me know and I can finish the solution and help merge it in.
