Harness the full power of Pivotal Tracker's search from the comfort of your chat client.

Installation

In hubot project repo, run:

npm install hubot-pivotal-search --save

Then add hubot-pivotal-search to your external-scripts.json:

Set the following environment variables:

HUBOT_PIVOTAL_TOKEN    # API token found on https://www.pivotaltracker.com/profile
HUBOT_PIVOTAL_PROJECTS # Get from project URL, save as JSON like this [{"id":"1234567"}, {"id":"1234568"}]

Sample Interaction

user1>> hubot pivotal mobile

Search for a story ID

Note: this search will return stories which have the given ID and stories which mention that ID. To return only the story of that ID use Pivotal Tracker's ID filter hubot pivotal id:12345678.
