Generating faces with emojis and pulse

We tested image generation using emojis as an input — instead of the downscaled photos usually used — and evaluated the results.

List of emoji inputs and the generated images

Only the emojis recognized as faces by align_faces.py were used as input. Other emojis were discarded, since they need to be recognized as a face for the image generation to work.
