<issue_description>The backend BFS API is broken. Upon returning a JSON, it doesn't fetch the proper value, after taking a long time. Is there a way for the user to see how much API progress has been made? Also the cache doesn't seem to contain the proper JSON because after caching, the results on the right don't show up. Fix it.</issue_description>
