Change default applications

The ML4W Hyprland Starter will install some default applications e.g., Firefox as browser and Thunar as filemanager. You can open the application by clicking on the corresponding status bar icon or with the predefined key binding.

You can replace these two apps for example with chromium, brave as browsers or nautilus as filemanager by installing the required packages for your Linux distribution and replace the existing execution command with the new ones in the files

~/.config/ml4w/settings/browser.sh

or

~/.config/ml4w/settings/filemanger.sh
