Matrix is going to drop support for unverified devices. Has the project considered that ? I am concerned if this project will stop working because of that.

verification is possible with matrix-nio: https://matrix-nio.readthedocs.io/en/latest/nio.html#nio.Client.verify_device

however this require encryption, and matrix-nio is currently working on switching from olm to vodozemac, so maybe this should wait.
