Two free, open-source tools for checking marketing copy. Disclosure: I built both.
Landing Copy Grader (→ Landing Pages) — paste a hero headline and subhead, get a 0–100 score against a fixed checklist of tells: no concrete number, filler openers, weak CTA, ALL-CAPS, hype words. Sits next to Headline Analyzer in spirit, but for the whole hero block.
Does My Text Sound AI? (→ Writing Tools) — checks a draft for ~60 AI-writing tells and returns a score.
Both are a single HTML file with no LLM call and no backend: the rules are deterministic and run in the browser, so nothing is uploaded and they work offline. No signup, no account, MIT licensed.
The grader's checklist was calibrated on a public dataset of 239 real landing pages, published as CSV in the repo.
