[BUG] TypeScript Sandbox is not running updated code #72
The TypeScript sandbox does not seem to execute the latest code written in the editor.
Even after making changes or intentionally adding syntax errors, clicking Run Tests still shows the previous successful output instead of compiling the updated code.
Steps to Reproduce
Open any DSA problem.
Modify the solution or add a syntax error.
Click Run Tests.
Expected Behavior
The sandbox should compile and run the latest code, or show a compilation error if the code is invalid.
Actual Behavior
The tests still pass and display the previous output, as if the updated code is not being executed.
Environment:
Browser: Chrome
OS: Windows 11
I found this issue while exploring the project as part of ECSoC'26.
Hi @Vijaykumar5623 , I would like to work on this issue. I’ll investigate why the TypeScript sandbox is executing stale code and fix it so the latest editor content is compiled and tested.
