I plan to use the retail data in plotly/plotly.py#4995

These data are aggregated from the Estimates of Monthly Retail and Food Services Sales by Kind of Business: 2024 https://www.census.gov/retail/sales.html including projected values for December

Thanks to Ken Letzler for converting the Census table into the example data we need.

I plan to use the GSS data in plotly/plotly.py#4994 and plotly/plotly.py#4984

I also put the readme table back into alphabetical order.

@gvwilson What are logical next steps to review this PR? It is blocking the completion of two other PRs that @SimaRaha and I have submitted. If it's better for me to circle back in say a month just let me know.
