DocuChat AI

This app was built as part of a challenge in IEEE Hackathon hosted in our college.

This app allows you to chat with your PDFs.

The app is built with Next.js. It uses PDF.js to parse the PDF file and preview it, and the NVIDIA Nim API with the mixtral-8x7b-instruct-v0.1 AI model to chat with the PDF text.

Getting Started

First, duplicate the .env file into a new file named .env.local. Update the value of your NVIDIA Nim API key and Clerk key there.

The first time you are running this project, you will need to install the dependencies. Run this command in your terminal:

yarn

To start the app, run:

yarn dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
