The past years my focus has shifted due to the board work, day job, and other commitments, and making that clear is important while we're trying to find paths forward for the important topics mentioned in this WG's charter.

Personally, I've not had the feeling the WG has found its way to be active enough to be effective, not due to a lack of interest to see solutions, though.

For me, it's probably been time for a while to step down; I do it now in the hopes that others feel empowered to step in.

@trallard Thank you for kicking off the WG and carrying forward the ideas and thoughts we collected years ago. I do think they still matter, and hopefully mean we can collaborate on them differently.
