rivetkit hard-depends on @rivet-dev/agent-os-core (~1.1 GB incl. AI SDKs) even when Agent OS is not used #5910
rivetkit 2.3.27, npm, Node 22, macOS arm64 and linux (Docker image build)
Expected
Docs list Agent OS as a separate integration (@rivet-dev/agentos). An app that only uses actors,
workflows, queues and cron should install rivetkit without the Agent OS runtime and AI SDKs.
Actual
rivetkit@2.3.27 lists "@rivet-dev/agent-os-core": "^0.1.1" under dependencies, which pulls in @agentos-software/* and AI SDKs (@anthropic-ai/*, @google/*, @mistralai/*, @mariozechner/pi-*).
~1.1 GB of that is attributable to the Agent OS chain; it ships in every app/worker image and in
self-hosted bundles, and widens the supply-chain review (several AI vendor SDKs we never call).
Question / suggested fix
Could @rivet-dev/agent-os-core become an optional or peer dependency (or move behind the @rivet-dev/agentos package), so actor-only users get a lean install? If there's a supported way to
exclude it today, please document it.

Hey! This was patched last night with
2.3.28. Can you give that a try and verify that fixes your issue?
