Also, some FreeBSD compat for the bind mounts and remove a stray ANSI reset code from --version so that has_features() parses them properly.
Use standard cc, not gcc; use pathconf. Use FreeBSD usertools where needed. Abort configure if pkg-config is not available.
On FreeBSD: HAVE_FIEMAP=0 but RM_MOUNTTABLE_IS_USABLE=1
