Sales Forecast Dashboard using Power BI

Welcome to my first internship task under Future Interns! This project is all about sales forecasting using Facebook Prophet and visualizing results using Power BI to drive business insights.

💡 Key Features

• Forecasting Model: Used Prophet to predict future monthly sales.

• Visuals:

  • Line chart comparing actual vs predicted sales.
  • KPIs showing total sales (actual & forecasted).
  • Clean & interactive layout for storytelling.

• Business Value: Helps stakeholders visualize sales trends and make data-driven decisions.

🧠 Learnings

• Hands-on with time series forecasting (Prophet)
• Explored Power BI for the first time (filters, KPIs, formatting).
• Got better at data cleaning & preparing visuals for presentation.

• Fields: ds (date), y (actual sales), yhat (forecast), yhat_upper/lower, etc.
• Source: Superstore sales dataset (kaggle)
